الدَهر في فرح بِمَولد أَحمَد

هُوَ ماجد مُتناسل عَن أَمجَد

هُوَ ماجد مُتناسل عَن أَمجَد

Time rejoices at Ahmad's birth.

Time rejoices at Ahmad's birth

He is illustrious, descended from one more illustrious still.

He is glorious, descended from the glorious

أَنعم وَأكرَم فَالنجابة مهده

أَنعم وَأكرَم فَالنجابة مهده

وَغذاء نَشأتهُ لبان السُؤدد

وَغذاء نَشأتهُ لبان السُؤدد

How gracious and noble! For distinction is his cradle.

He was blessed and honored, his cradle was nobility

And the nourishment of his upbringing is the milk of eminence.

And the milk of his upbringing was the purest substance

فَلمجد وَالده الهَنا بسعوده

فَلمجد وَالده الهَنا بسعوده

وَبِهِ يَنال الفَضل أَشرَف مَقصَد

وَبِهِ يَنال الفَضل أَشرَف مَقصَد

So his father's glory rejoices in his good fortune.

Through his father's glory he prospers

And through him, virtue attains its noblest goal.

And through him the highest merit is attained

وَبِهِ الصَفا نادى وَقال مُؤَرِخاً

وَبِهِ الصَفا نادى وَقال مُؤَرِخاً

بُشرى سَمَت بِصَفاء مَولد أَحمَد

بُشرى سَمَت بِصَفاء مَولد أَحمَد

And through him, purity called out and said, recording the date:

And through him Safa proclaimed and said chronicling

Glad tidings rose high with the purity of Ahmad's birth.

Good tidings have reached with the purity of Ahmad's birth
