This is a night that shone forth with joy,

This is a night with company revealed

And all the lights within it are radiant,

And all lights in it radiant

In celebration of a strand of hair that reminded us

Celebrating a strand that reminded us

Of every glory in the goodness of the best of creation.

Every pride in the best of mankind
