رقى أَكمَل الأَفراح بشراك سَيد

قرانك مَسعود وَوَقتك أَسعَد

قرانك مَسعود وَوَقتك أَسعَد

The fullest joy has risen—glad tidings to you, Sayyid!

Your marriage is auspicious, and your hour still more fortunate.

فَفُز بِقران أَنتَ بَدر سُعوده

فَفُز بِقران أَنتَ بَدر سُعوده

وَشَمس تَهانيه بِسعدك تَسعد

وَشَمس تَهانيه بِسعدك تَسعد

So prosper through a union whose full moon of good fortune you are,

and whose sun of congratulations finds happiness in your good fortune.

لَهُ تَحفظ الأَيّام تاريخ مَطلَع

لَهُ تَحفظ الأَيّام تاريخ مَطلَع

فَتَزهو بِهِ بَينَ الأَنام وَتَحمد

فَتَزهو بِهِ بَينَ الأَنام وَتَحمد

For it the days preserve the date of a dawning,

so you may glory in it among humankind and give thanks.

وَقَد خَتَمته بِالنَظير فَأَرخَت

وَقَد خَتَمته بِالنَظير فَأَرخَت

قِران مَسَرات صفا بِكَ سَيد

قِران مَسَرات صفا بِكَ سَيد

And I have concluded it with its counterpart, thus recording the date:

A union of joys is unclouded through you, Sayyid.
