أَيا حامِداً في العُلا

بَلَغت الصَفا إِلا كَملا

بَلَغت الصَفا إِلا كَملا

O Hamid, amid the heights,

Oh praiser in the heights

You have attained serenity—[“except ... complete”: wording unclear].

You have reached perfection, nothing less

بِنَجل سَعيد بِكم

بِنَجل سَعيد بِكم

يَهني جَميع المَلا

يَهني جَميع المَلا

For a son made happy by you,

With a blessed happy son

the whole assembly offers congratulations.

Who brings joy to all nobles

فَأَنعم وَأَكرم بِهِ

فَأَنعم وَأَكرم بِهِ

فَسَعد عُلاه اِعتَلى

فَسَعد عُلاه اِعتَلى

So how excellent and noble he is!

So bless and honor him

The good fortune of his glory has thus risen high.

Whose highness ascended in fortune

وَطالعه قَد زَها

وَطالعه قَد زَها

وَنُور الهَنا أَقبَلا

وَنُور الهَنا أَقبَلا

And his rising star has shone,

And whose horoscope shines

and the light of joy has come forth.

As the light of bliss dawns

فَدُم في سُرور بِهِ

فَدُم في سُرور بِهِ

وَلِلعز مُستقبلا

وَلِلعز مُستقبلا

So remain in joy over him,

So revel in joy for him

and look forward to glory.

And for glory yet to come

فَتارتجه قَد أَتى

فَتارتجه قَد أَتى

بِأَجمَل بَيت علا

بِأَجمَل بَيت علا

So its chronogram has come [uncertain reading],

For his birth chart has brought

in the loveliest verse of glory:

The most beautiful lofty house

بِمَولد عَبد العَزيز

تَجلى سُرور العُلى

With the birth of Abdulaziz

the joy of the heights shone forth.

The joy of the heights shines clear
