عرفنا بما أعددت ما أنت مدرك

From what you have prepared, we know what you will achieve,

and the past has brought us glad tidings of what will follow it.

وجئنا بميثاق الجهاد أعزة

وكل أخ مستمسك بأخيه

وكل أخ مستمسك بأخيه

And we have come, proud, bearing the covenant of struggle,

each brother holding fast to his brother.

وحسبك أن لباك كل مجرب

وحسبك أن لباك كل مجرب

وحسبك أن والاك كل وجيه

وحسبك أن والاك كل وجيه

And it is enough for you that every seasoned man has answered your call;

and it is enough for you that every man of standing has sided with you.

وأنت أبو الشعب الذي أنت عاطف

وأنت أبو الشعب الذي أنت عاطف

عليه وقد أوفى بحق أبيه

عليه وقد أوفى بحق أبيه

And you are the father of the people, showing affection

toward them, while they have fulfilled their duty to their father.

تقبَّل من آماله ما أريته

تقبَّل من آماله ما أريته

وما أعظم الخير الذي ستريه

وما أعظم الخير الذي ستريه

They have welcomed those of their hopes you have shown them;

and how great is the good that you will show them!
