  1. إن ظفر السلاف فالسكسونُ

    يأبون أن ينهزم الخدينُ

    If the Slavs prevail, then the Saxons

    refuse to let their close companion be defeated.

  2. وإن أتيح النصر لليابانِ

    فغنمهم وغرمهم سيانِ

    And if victory is granted to Japan,

    then their gain and their loss are the same.
