بِهِ أَحمي المُضافَ إِذا دَعاني
إِذاwhen ماan emphatic particle قيلَit is said لِلأَبطالِto the champions هَيتاcome forth!
إِذا ما قيلَ لِلأَبطالِ هَيتا
With it I defend the assemblies when I am called—
With it I protect the one seeking refuge when he calls upon me,
when the heroes are told, “Come!”
when the champions are told, 'Come forth!'
