غَيرَ مَملوكٍ وَلا بِرمَه

غَيرَ مَملوكٍ وَلا بِرمَه

If you seek war with me, you will meet a young man,

If you seek my war, you'll meet a man

Neither enslaved nor a miser.

Who's neither slave nor cowardly

قَسَماً ما غَيرَ ذي الذَبِّ

قَسَماً ما غَيرَ ذي الذَبِّ

أَن نُبيحَ الخَدنَ وَالحُرمَه

أَن نُبيحَ الخَدنَ وَالحُرمَه

An oath, without defense [wording unclear],

I swear by Him besides Whose glory

That we lay the companion and what is sacred open to violation.

None would profane what's sacrosanct
