المقسطونَ هُمُ والقاسطونَ هُمُ

المقسطونَ هُمُ والقاسطونَ هُمُ

والواصلون هُمُ والقاطعونَ همُ

والواصلون هُمُ والقاطعونَ همُ

They are the just, and they are the unjust.

The just and the unjust,

And they are those who maintain ties, and they are those who sever them.

The connected and disconnected,

إنْ يعدلوا رضِيتْ نفسي بما بذلوا

إنْ يعدلوا رضِيتْ نفسي بما بذلوا

واللّه  إن ظلمُوا  بيني وبينهمُ

واللّه إن ظلمُوا بيني وبينهمُ

If they act justly, my soul is content with what they give.

If they act with justice, I am pleased with what they have given,

And if they act unjustly, God is between me and them.

By Allah, if they wrong me, between me and them is God.
