صباحٌ أطلّ .. وليلٌ أفل

صباحٌ أطلّ .. وليلٌ أفل

وأنت .. ضياؤك .. لمّا تزل

وأنت .. ضياؤك .. لمّا تزل

Morning dawned, and night faded away.

Morning dawned .. and night fell away

And you—your radiance has not yet faded—

Yet you .. your radiance .. did not fade

‏بقلبٍ .. تصبّر في النائبات

‏بقلبٍ .. تصبّر في النائبات

‏وأنبت في جانبيك الأمل

‏وأنبت في جانبيك الأمل

With a heart that endured patiently amid calamities

In a heart .. that persevered through trials

And made hope grow on either side of you.

And on its sides hope did cascade
