عليكَ صلاةُ ربٓي ما تغنّتْ
علىupon الأشجارأطيارُthe trees; birds الصباحof morning
على الأشجارأطيارُ الصباح
May my Lord’s blessing be upon you, as long as
May my Lord's blessing be upon you, as long as they sing—
the birds of morning sing upon the branches,
the birds of morning upon the trees—
وماand as long as رفّتfluttered وريقاتٌlittle leaves عليهَاupon them
وما رفّت وريقاتٌ عليهَا
ونادىand called الحقّtruth حيّcome! علىto الفلاحِsuccess
ونادى الحقّ حيّ على الفلاحِ
and as long as little leaves flutter upon them,
and as long as little leaves flutter upon them,
and Truth calls: “Hasten to success.”
and truth calls, 'Come to success.'
