ولا تَأمَنَن مِن مُبغِضٍ قُربَ دارِهِ

ولا تَأمَنَن مِن مُبغِضٍ قُربَ دارِهِ

ولا مِن مُحبٍّ أَن يَمَلَّ فَيبعُدا

ولا مِن مُحبٍّ أَن يَمَلَّ فَيبعُدا

Never feel safe from a hater when you are near his home,

And never feel safe from a hater whose home is near,

nor from a lover, lest he tire and draw away.

Nor from one who loves you, lest he grow weary and draw away.
