قُل لِعَبدِ العُزّى أَخي وَشَقيقي

قُل لِعَبدِ العُزّى أَخي وَشَقيقي

وَبَني هاشِمٍ جَميعاً عِزينا

وَبَني هاشِمٍ جَميعاً عِزينا

Tell ʿAbd al-ʿUzzā, my brother and full brother,

Tell the servant of Al-'Uzza, my brother and close friend,

and all the sons of Hāshim, in their bands,

And the Hashimites altogether, our glory,

وَصَديقي أَبي عِمارَةَ وَالإِخـ

وَصَديقي أَبي عِمارَةَ وَالإِخـ

ـوانِ طُرّاً وَأُسرَتي أَجمَعينا

ـوانِ طُرّاً وَأُسرَتي أَجمَعينا

and my friend Abū ʿImārah, and the brothers,

And my friend Abu 'Imran and the brothers,

all of them, and my entire family:

Fliers, and my family altogether,

فَاِعلَموا أَنَّني لَهُ ناصِرٌ

فَاِعلَموا أَنَّني لَهُ ناصِرٌ

وَمُجِرٌّ بِصَولَتي الخاذِلينا

وَمُجِرٌّ بِصَولَتي الخاذِلينا

Know, then, that I am his supporter,

Know that I am his supporter,

and with my onslaught I subdue those who forsake him.

And chastiser with my authority of the deserters,

فَاِنصُروهُ لِلرحمِ وَالنَسَبِ الأَد

فَاِنصُروهُ لِلرحمِ وَالنَسَبِ الأَد

نى وَكونوا لَهُ يَداً مُصلِتينا

نى وَكونوا لَهُ يَداً مُصلِتينا

So support him for kinship and the closest ties of blood,

So support him for the sake of close ties and noble lineage,

and be a hand for him, with swords drawn.

And be for him a helping hand and reconciling.
