أما والذي ناجى من الطور عبده

أما والذي ناجى من الطور عبده

وانزل فرقاناً وأوحى الى النحلِ

وانزل فرقاناً وأوحى الى النحلِ

Indeed, by Him who communed with His servant from the Mount,

By Him who spoke to His servant at the Mountain,

And sent down the Criterion and revealed to the bees:

And sent down to us the criterion, and revealed unto the bees,

لقد ولدت حواء منك بلية

لقد ولدت حواء منك بلية

تنيخ عليى قلبي وثقلا على ثقل

تنيخ عليى قلبي وثقلا على ثقل

Eve has indeed borne in you an affliction

Eve was surely born of you, a calamity,

That settles upon my heart, and a burden upon a burden.

That weighs heavy upon my heart, and burden upon burden.
