سلام وتقديم التحية واجب

على الملأ الأزكى الذين أخاطب

Greetings are a duty

Upon the most virtuous assembly I address

على من إذا داعي المتابِ دَعَابِهِم

فكلُّهم داعٍ إليه وتائب

Upon those who if the penitent calls them to repent

They are all callers to Him and penitent

رعى الله هذا الجمع سراً وجهرة

ففيه المعالي كلُّها والمناقب

May Allah protect this gathering, secretly and openly

For in it are all glories and virtues

بيُمنِ أمير المؤمنين وَمَنِّهِ

وعزة هذا الأمر هذي الرغائب

With the blessings of the Commander of the Faithful and his bounty

And the dignity of this matter, these wishes

إمام بكفِّ الدِّين منه مهند

له من رؤوس الناكثين ضرائب

An Imam with the palm of religion from it extended

For him from the heads of the breakers of allegiance, spoils

تقبَّل آثار الأئمة قبله

فلا الظلّ مفقود ولا النّور غائب

Who took on the traces of the Imams before him

So neither the shade is lost nor the light absent

له من دعاء المسلمين وحبِّهم

كتائب مصنوع لها ومواكب

For him from the prayers of the Muslims and their love

Battalions made for it and processions

فسل عنه آفاق البلاد وأهلها

تَلُح لك أثناء الجواب عجائب

So ask the horizons of the countries and its people about him

Instantly amazing answers will come to you

وما هي إلاَّ مكنة وعناية

تهيئها الأقدار والله غالب

And they are only enablement and care

Prepared by destinies and Allah is Dominant

بها ائتلفت هذي القلوب على التُّى

وهل تكشف الظلماء إلاَّ الكواكب

With it these hearts came together in agreement

And does the darkness uncover except for the stars

إذا الغيم عمَّ الخافقين تدفقا

فلا عجب في أن تطيب المشارب

When the clouds filled the horizons pouring down

No wonder the waters taste sweet
