إذاwhen غابَare absent أهلُpeople of الصِّدقِtruthfulness عنكَfrom you فإنّماthen indeed
إذا غابَ أهلُ الصِّدقِ عنكَ فإنّما
تغيبُdepart بهمwith them عنكَfrom you المسّرةُjoy والأُنسُand companionship
تغيبُ بهم عنكَ المسّرةُ والأُنسُ
When people of truth depart from you, it is only
When truthful people are absent from you, then indeed
that with them your joys and companionship disappear.
joy and companionship depart from you along with them.
