فَماfor … is not المالُwealth إِلّاexcept سُؤرthe remainder حَقِّكَyour rightful dues كُلِّهِall of them
فَما المالُ إِلّا سُؤر حَقِّكَ كُلِّهِ
وَلكِنَّهُbut it عَمّاfrom what سِوىother than الحَقِّwhat is right مُحزَقُtightly withheld
وَلكِنَّهُ عَمّا سِوى الحَقِّ مُحزَقُ
Wealth is but the remnant left after all your rightful needs are met;
For wealth is only what remains after all your rightful dues are met;
yet from everything save what is right, it is tightly withheld.
Yet it is tightly withheld from anything other than what is right.
