When you spend the spring between al-Shurayq and Dhā
When you sit between the rising sun and the meadows,
Rawḍ al-Falāj, Dhāt al-Sarḥ, and al-ʿUbab,
The pastures, the drinking places, and the tent ropes,
وَاِحتَلَّتِand she settled الجَوّal-Jaww فالأَجزاعَthen the valley bends مِنof مَرَخٍMarakh

فَما لَها مِن مُلاحاةٍ وَلا طَلَبِ
and she settles in al-Jaww, then the valley bends of Marakh,
And the air becomes mild through the bending branches,
then for her there is neither quarrelling nor pursuit.
They have no confrontation or pursuit.
