My young she-camel set off at evening, praising

The family of al-Zubayr, deeming no one their equal.

She departed with sixty camel-loads in her saddlebag,

Laden with neither her lightest load nor a middling one.

Never before her had I seen a young she-camel carry

Sixty camel-loads, or traverse a land with them.

That is hospitality—not the hospitality of people I have seen

Serving their guest new, twisted whips.
