Your servant prays, spreading his five fingers,

imploring as he prays—so do not forget him.

If you do not weep for him out of compassion,

then do not blame him if he weeps for himself.

How many sorrows I bear in the heart whose

confinement in love's prison you have prolonged.

A servant who, when you leave him lonely, cannot find

solace among people, even if they surround him.
