أَعَبدونُO ʿAbdūn قَدalready صِرتَyou have become أُحدوثَةًa tale
أَعَبدونُ قَد صِرتَ أُحدوثَةً
يُدَوَّنُis recorded سائِرُall أَخبارِهاits reports
يُدَوَّنُ سائِرُ أَخبارِها
O ʿAbdūn, you have become a tale,
You have become something new that people worship,
whose every detail is recorded.

حَبَوتَyou favored النَصارىthe Christians بِهاwith it مُعلِناًproclaiming openly
حَبَوتَ النَصارى بِها مُعلِناً
