By your life, despair free from doubt
By your life! Despair is better than false hope;

وَلَلرَيثُand indeed delay تَحفِزُهُyou spur it on بِالنَجاwith success (continued)
وَلَلرَيثُ تَحفِزُهُ بِالنَجا
حِcompletion of النجاح: success خَيرٌbetter مِنَthan الأَمَلِhope الخائِبِdisappointed
حِ خَيرٌ مِنَ الأَمَلِ الخائِبِ
and delay that you spur on with success
