And she who pierces the cloak of every darkness
And she who pierces the cloak of every darkness,
with a keen spearpoint at the tip of a slender lance,
With a keen spearhead atop a slender lance,
تجودshe gives generously علىto أهلpeople of الندىgenerosity بنفسهاwith her own self
تجود على أهل الندى بنفسها
وماand no فوقbeyond بذلgiving النفسthe self جودgenerosity لباذلfor a giver
وما فوق بذل النفس جود لباذل
lavishes her very self upon the generous—
Lavishes her very self upon the generous;
for no giver's generosity surpasses the giving of oneself.
And no giver's bounty surpasses the giving of oneself.
ويقريand feasts عيونthe eyes of الناظرينthose who gaze ضياؤهاher radiance
ويقري عيون الناظرين ضياؤها
وقدwhile already قيدتhave been fettered ألحاظهمtheir glances بالاصائلby the evening hours
وقد قيدت ألحاظهم بالاصائل
Her radiance regales the eyes of all who gaze,
And her radiance feasts the eyes of those who gaze,
having held their glances captive in the evening hours.
While their glances have already been fettered by evening.
