Among sweets, I love those that resemble

I love the sweetest that resembles

a bride’s fingertips in fine, striped cloth.

The fingers of a bride in henna dressed

فما حملت كف الفتى متطعما

For no young man’s hand has held a morsel

For nothing that a young man's hand can hold

more delicious and more appetizing than Zaynab’s fingers.

Is sweeter or more luscious than Zainab's caress
