ولولا نزارٌ لضاق الفضاء

ولولا نزارٌ لضاق الفضاء

ولم يبق حرز ولا معقل

ولم يبق حرز ولا معقل

And were it not for Nizār, the wide expanse would have narrowed;

Were it not for Nizar, space would be confined

And no refuge or stronghold would have remained;

No refuge or stronghold left behind

واخرجت الأرض اثقالها

واخرجت الأرض اثقالها

وادخل في امه دعبل

وادخل في امه دعبل

And the earth would have cast out its burdens;

The earth would cast off all its weight

And Diʿbil would have been thrust into his mother.

And Dabil enter his mother's womb
