Whoever burns in my fire, without offense or blood-debt,
He who connects my fire without sin or fault
will burn in the fire of a noble man, no traitor.
Will be connected to the fire of a generous, forgiving Lord

I straighten his crookedness, if he is crooked,
I will straighten his crookedness if he is crooked
as an arrow shaft of nabʿ wood is straightened by the carver.
As a bucket's handle is straightened at the wellspring

The companion of the lute cannot reach the end of time with me
from me; I surely avenge the wrongs done to me.
Yet I can reach the end with my strings
