الخَمرُ تُفّاحٌ جَرى ذائِباً
كَذالِكَlikewise التُفّاحُthe apples خَمرٌwine جَمَدsolidified
كَذالِكَ التُفّاحُ خَمرٌ جَمَد
Wine is apples that have flowed in molten form.
Wine is melting apple
Wine is an apple that has flowed and melted,
Likewise, apples are wine that has solidified.
Thus apple is frozen wine
Just as the apple is wine that has solidified.
فَاشرَبso drink عَلىwith جامِدِthe solid form of ذاthis ذَوبَthe molten form of ذاthis
فَاشرَب عَلى جامِدِ ذا ذَوبَ ذا
وَلاand do not تَدَعleave لَذَّةَthe pleasure of يَومٍa day لِغَدfor tomorrow
وَلا تَدَع لَذَّةَ يَومٍ لِغَد
So drink the molten form of one with the solid form of the other.
Drink from melting frozen one
So drink the melt of this upon the solid of that,
And do not leave today's pleasure for tomorrow.
Do not leave one day’s joy for tomorrow
And leave not the delight of a day for the morrow.
