O you whose glance is magic,
O you whose glance is enchantment,
And whose smiling mouth is pearls,
And whose smile is a string of pearls,

I summoned my courage and revealed my heart to you
you, when patience was overcome.
When my patience was finally overcome.

When the noon prayer has been offered.'
When the noon prayer has been prayed."
