O daughter of the sheikh, serve us a morning drink.
O daughter of the sheikh, we woke up
O daughter of the Sheikh, pour us our morning drink,
What are you waiting for?
What is it that you are waiting for us?
What is it that you are waiting for?

Water has already flowed through your stem;
The water has flowed in your willow branch, so make the wine flow in us
Water has flowed through your wood,
so make the wine flow through us.
We only drink it
So make the wine flow among us.

For indeed, we only drink from it—

Everything that stands in opposition
to the drink of the righteous.

Who has adopted withholding as his creed.

So he will see the moment one day
Time has dragged on for him,
so an hour seems to him a long while.

So he sees a mere hour as an age.

Stop at the dwelling of those who have departed,
And cry if you are sad
Halt at the campsite of those who departed,
and weep if you are sorrowful.
And ask the house when
And weep, if you are truly sorrowful.
