وُجَيهُ مُحَمَّدٍ شَمسُ

وُجَيهُ مُحَمَّدٍ شَمسُ

وَمُلكُ مُحَمَّدٍ عُرسُ

وَمُلكُ مُحَمَّدٍ عُرسُ

Muhammad's little face is a sun;

The face of Muhammad is a sun

The lovely face of Muhammad is a sun,

And Muhammad's rule is a wedding feast.

And the kingdom of Muhammad a wedding

And the reign of Muhammad is a wedding feast,

وَكَفّاهُ تَجودانِ

وَكَفّاهُ تَجودانِ

بِما لا تَأمَلُ النَفسُ

بِما لا تَأمَلُ النَفسُ

And both his hands give generously

His palms give generously

His two hands bestow bountifully

What the soul does not hope for.

What no soul can hope for

Beyond what the soul could ever hope for,

فَما في جودِهِ مَنٌّ

فَما في جودِهِ مَنٌّ

وَلا في بَذلِهِ حَبسُ

وَلا في بَذلِهِ حَبسُ

For his generosity comes with no reminders of favors,

So there is no reluctance in his generosity

There is no reproach of favors in his generosity,

And in his giving there is no withholding.

Nor restraint in his giving

Nor is there any withholding in his giving,

شَهيدايَ عَلى ما قُل

شَهيدايَ عَلى ما قُل

تُ فيهِ الجِنُّ وَالإِنسُ

تُ فيهِ الجِنُّ وَالإِنسُ

My two witnesses to what I have said

My witnesses for what I say

My two witnesses to what I have spoken

About him are the jinn and humankind.

Are jinn and mankind alike

Concerning him are the Jinn and Mankind.
