Indeed, with today—know this well—comes tomorrow.
With each day comes knowledge of tomorrow
Know for certain: with today there is a tomorrow,
So consider how the coming of its morrow runs its course.
So look to see how its coming will end
So consider what the arrival of that morrow concludes.

إِلّا وَشَيءٌ يَموتُ مِن جَسَدِه
No man's glance returns with its pleasure
No person's gaze returns to what delighted him
Never does a man's glance return from his delight,
without something of his body dying.
Except that some part of his body has died
But that a piece of his body dies within him.
