كُلُّ ناعٍ فَسَيُنعى

كُلُّ ناعٍ فَسَيُنعى

كُلُّ باكٍ فَسَيُبكى

كُلُّ باكٍ فَسَيُبكى

Every announcer of death will, in turn, have his death announced.

Every complainer will be complained of

Every herald of death shall himself be heralded,

Every weeper will, in turn, be wept for.

Every weeping one will weep

Every weeper shall himself be wept for.

كُلُّ مَذخورٍ سَيَفنى

كُلُّ مَذخورٍ سَيَفنى

كُلُّ مَذكورٍ سَيُنسى

كُلُّ مَذكورٍ سَيُنسى

Every hoarded thing will perish.

Every feared one will perish

Every hoarded treasure is destined to perish,

Everyone remembered will be forgotten.

Every mentioned one will be forgotten

Every remembered name shall be forgotten.

لَيسَ غَيرَ اللَهِ يَبقى

لَيسَ غَيرَ اللَهِ يَبقى

مَن عَلا فَاللَهُ أَعلى

مَن عَلا فَاللَهُ أَعلى

None but God remains.

None but Allah remains

There is nothing but God that eternally remains,

Whoever rises high, God is higher.

Whoever exalts, Allah is higher

And whoever rises high, God is higher still.

إِنَّ شَيئاً قَد كُفينا

إِنَّ شَيئاً قَد كُفينا

هُ لَهُ نَسعى وَنَشقى

هُ لَهُ نَسعى وَنَشقى

Indeed, something already provided for us

Indeed, we have been sufficiently forewarned

Verily, the very matter that has been guaranteed to us,

is what we strive and toil for.

To Him we strive and writhe

Is that for which we toil and suffer in vain.

إِنَّ لِلشَرِّ وَلِلخَيـ

إِنَّ لِلشَرِّ وَلِلخَيـ

ـرِ لَسيما لَيسَ تَخفى

ـرِ لَسيما لَيسَ تَخفى

Indeed, for evil and for good

Indeed, for evil and for good

Indeed, both for evil and for good,

there is a mark that is not hidden.

There are signs - nothing is concealed

There are distinct marks that cannot remain hidden.

كُلُّ مُستَخفٍ بِسِرٍّ

كُلُّ مُستَخفٍ بِسِرٍّ

فَمِنَ اللَهِ بِمَرأى

فَمِنَ اللَهِ بِمَرأى

Everyone hiding in secrecy

Whoever takes a secret lightly

Every soul seeking to conceal a secret,

is in God's sight.

Is in Allah's view

Stands fully exposed in the sight of God.

لا تَرى شَيئاً عَلى اللَـ

لا تَرى شَيئاً عَلى اللَـ

ـهِ مِنَ الأَشياءِ يَخفى

ـهِ مِنَ الأَشياءِ يَخفى

You see nothing that, from God,

You will not see anything

You shall find not a single thing,

among all things, is hidden.

In creation concealed from Allah

That is veiled from the knowledge of God.
