ظهرت لعين الكون من غير رؤية

ظهرت لعين الكون من غير رؤية

وغير ابتداء ظاهر الأحدية

وغير ابتداء ظاهر الأحدية

You appeared to the eye of creation without being seen,

You manifested Yourself to the eye of the cosmos without being seen,

and without beginning—the Manifest of Divine Oneness.

and without beginning, manifest in absolute oneness.

ظهورك بالاحسان يا ظاهر انجلى

ظهورك بالاحسان يا ظاهر انجلى

على وجه ذرات الوجود البديعة

على وجه ذرات الوجود البديعة

Your manifestation through beneficence, O Manifest One, shone clear

Your manifestation through beneficence, O Manifest One, shone forth

upon the faces of the wondrous atoms of existence.

ظهرت عياناً لا لإدراك باصر

ظهرت عياناً لا لإدراك باصر

ولكن بتفريج الكروب العظيمة

You appeared openly, not within a beholder’s perception,

You appeared plainly, not for a beholder to perceive,

but through the relief of grievous afflictions,

but through the relief of grievous afflictions.

وبالقدرة المخصوص ربي بشأنها

وبالقدرة المخصوص ربي بشأنها

على السل والايجاب والممكنية

على السل والايجاب والممكنية

and through the power by which my Lord is uniquely distinguished

And through the power whose prerogative is my Lord’s alone,

over negation, affirmation, and possibility;

over withdrawal, affirmation, and contingency;

وبالغلب والاجبار والقهر سيدي

وبالغلب والاجبار والقهر سيدي

فما ذرة إلا لعلمك ذلت

فما ذرة إلا لعلمك ذلت

and through dominance, compulsion, and subjugation, my Master—

and through supremacy, compulsion, and subjugation, my Master,

not an atom but has humbled itself before Your knowledge.

so there is no atom that has not bowed to Your knowledge.

وبالمظهر الأسنى بكل دلالة

وبالمظهر الأسنى بكل دلالة

يقينية لم تخف عن ذي بصيرة

يقينية لم تخف عن ذي بصيرة

And through the most exalted manifestation, with every indication

And through the most resplendent manifestation, with every indication

certain and concealed from no one possessed of insight;

certain, not hidden from anyone endowed with insight.

وبالعون والترزيق يا ظاهر انجلى

وبالعون والترزيق يا ظاهر انجلى

ظهورك والألطاف والمددية

ظهورك والألطاف والمددية

and through aid and the granting of provision, O Manifest One, shone clear

And through aid and the granting of sustenance, O Manifest One, shone forth

Your manifestation, Your graces, and sustaining succor.

Your manifestation, gracious favors, and sustaining aid.

وكونك أظهرت الظواهر معلم

وكونك أظهرت الظواهر معلم

يدل على السلطان للظاهرية

يدل على السلطان للظاهرية

That You made manifest all visible things is a sign

And Your making outward things manifest is a sign

pointing to the sovereignty of Manifestness;

that points to the sovereignty of outward manifestation.

وبالحجة العظمى التي أنت أهلها

وبالحجة العظمى التي أنت أهلها

على الخلق واستولت على كل حجة

على الخلق واستولت على كل حجة

and through the supreme proof of which You are the worthy master

And through the supreme proof of which You are worthy

against creation—a proof that has prevailed over every proof;

against creation, and which has prevailed over every proof;

وبالفعل والآيات يا رب والغنى

وبالفعل والآيات يا رب والغنى

لذاتك والأحياء والأحدية

لذاتك والأحياء والأحدية

and through action and signs, O Lord, and the self-sufficiency

and through action and signs, O Lord, and the self-sufficiency

of Your Essence—and through the living beings and Divine Oneness.

of Your essence, and the living, and absolute oneness.

بسر الظهور الحق هب لي قوة ال

بسر الظهور الحق هب لي قوة ال

ظهور بما نرضى على كل ذرة

ظهور بما نرضى على كل ذرة

By the secret of true manifestation, grant me the power of the—

By the mystery of true manifestation, grant me the power of

—manifestation we desire, over every atom.

manifestation through what pleases us, over every atom.
