Noble in His pure, immaculate attributes.

At the gate of One generous in pardoning any sinner,

At the gate of One generous in giving before any means of approach is sought,

At the gate of One generous, who has never driven His disobedient servant to despair,

At the gate of One generous, who thinks nothing of bestowing a blessing.

At the gate of One generous, who has never abandoned a supplicant,

Nor a seeker of refuge—glory be to Him—to ruin.

At the gate of One noble in deed, free of any need,

At the gate of One generous, who relieves every want.

At Your gate, O You whose gate is the destination of hope,

And even if my conduct between me and You has been vile,

So honor my standing here as befits You,

And it does not befit You, O Generous One, to disappoint me.
