To the Most High King, in whom I believe,

In His oneness, in my atom's cosmic existence.

To the Most High King, whom I ceaselessly invoke,

Glorifying Him since before my coming into being was made manifest.

To the Most High King, to whom I sincerely devote

My faith out of love—not for fire or paradise.

To the Most High King, who was glorified

By the worlds through His names, with their inborn praise.

To the Most High King, who was glorified

By the forelocks of conquering kings, which fell prostrate.

To the All-Conquering King, whose might

Left the angels thunderstruck and humbled.

To the All-Subduing King, to whose majesty

And power my strength, in its weakness, clings.

To the King, the Bestower, I raise my need,

For the outpourings of His giving are my treasure and sufficiency.

To the King, the Benefactor, I ask a favor

Through which He purifies my livelihood of dependence on created beings' favors.

To the All-Sufficing King, I pour out my complaint,

So I may be spared religious and worldly cares.
