بسلطان سراسم العليم وثبت

بسلطان سراسم العليم وثبت

Remove my soul’s ignorance, O All-Knowing, and purify it

Erase my ignorance, O All-Knowing, and purify my soul

by the power of the secret of the name ‘the All-Knowing’; and grant steadfastness.

With the authority of the mysteries of the All-Knowing, and steady

افض لي علماً يا عليم مقرباً

افض لي علماً يا عليم مقرباً

إليك وقدس يا عليم أنيتي

إليك وقدس يا عليم أنيتي

Pour forth for me knowledge, O All-Knowing, that draws me near

Bestow upon me, O All-Knowing, knowledge brought near

to You; and sanctify, O All-Knowing, my selfhood.

To You, and sanctify, O All-Knowing, my essence

افض لي من العلم اللداني يا علي

افض لي من العلم اللداني يا علي

م بحراً وحقق يا عليم حقيقتي

م بحراً وحقق يا عليم حقيقتي

Of divinely bestowed knowledge, pour forth for me, O All-Knowing,

Bestow upon me from the subtle knowledge, O All-Knowing

an ocean; and bring my true being to realization, O All-Knowing.

An ocean, and fulfill, O All-Knowing, my reality

وهب لي نوراً يا عليم مبصرا

وهب لي نوراً يا عليم مبصرا

بأنوار سراسم العليم بصيرتي

بأنوار سراسم العليم بصيرتي

And grant me a light, O All-Knowing, that gives sight

And grant me, O All-Knowing, an enlightening light

to my inner vision through the lights of the secret of the name ‘the All-Knowing’;

With the lights of the mysteries of the All-Knowing, my insight

وكشفا سنياً يا عليم مجلياً

وكشفا سنياً يا عليم مجلياً

بألطاف سراسم العليم كثيفتي

بألطاف سراسم العليم كثيفتي

and a sublime unveiling, O All-Knowing, that illumines

And an unveiling of years, O All-Knowing, revealing

my dense bodily nature through the subtle graces of the secret of the name ‘the All-Knowing’;

With the subtleties of the mysteries of the All-Knowing, my density

ووهبا عليمياً فيوض انبساطه

ووهبا عليمياً فيوض انبساطه

تزحزح وهمي يا علمي وظلمتي

تزحزح وهمي يا علمي وظلمتي

and a gift of the All-Knowing, whose unfolding effusions

And a bestowal of knowledge, its outpouring overflows

dispel my delusion, O my knowledge, and my darkness.

Remove my illusion, O All-Knowing, and my darkness

بأنوار ما أودعت من سراسمك ال

بأنوار ما أودعت من سراسمك ال

عليم بأسرار النفوس الزكية

عليم بأسرار النفوس الزكية

By the lights of what You have deposited from the secret of Your name,

With the lights of what You have deposited of Your mysteries

‘the All-Knowing,’ within the secrets of pure souls;

O All-Knowing, of the secrets of purified souls

بأرواح ما تلقيه من لطف اسمك ال

بأرواح ما تلقيه من لطف اسمك ال

عليم بأجسام القلوب الجلية

عليم بأجسام القلوب الجلية

by the spirits of what You impart from the subtle grace of Your name,

With the spirits receiving Your Name's grace

‘the All-Knowing,’ into the bodies of clear hearts;

O All-Knowing, of the bodies of sincere hearts

بعلمك والامداد من فيض اسمك الع

بعلمك والامداد من فيض اسمك الع

ليم لأهل القرب والصفوية

ليم لأهل القرب والصفوية

by Your knowledge and the aid from the outpouring of Your name,

With Your knowledge and provision from the overflow of Your Name

‘the All-Knowing,’ for the people of nearness and purity;

O All-Knowing, for the intimates and the elect

بينبوع سراسم العليم أمدني

بينبوع سراسم العليم أمدني

وجل لعقلي كنه كل حقيقة

وجل لعقلي كنه كل حقيقة

sustain me with the wellspring of the secret of the name ‘the All-Knowing,’

From the wellspring of the mysteries of the All-Knowing sustain me

and reveal to my intellect the inmost essence of every reality.

And unveil to my intellect the essence of every truth

الهي حققني بتأثير اسمك العلي

الهي حققني بتأثير اسمك العلي

م ونور ظاهري وطويتي

م ونور ظاهري وطويتي

O my God, bring me to realization through the efficacy of Your name, the All-Knowing,

My God, realize me through the influence of Your Name, the All-Knowing

and illumine my outward being and my inmost self.

And the light of my outer and inner essence
