على المعرج الأسنى من الذِّكر عوّلا

فاشراق شمس السر فيه تهللا

Rely upon the loftiest ascent of remembrance;

For within it the radiance of the sun of mystery has shone forth.

وما هو إلا ذكر أسماء ربنا

وما هو إلا ذكر أسماء ربنا

تعالى ولكن كن على الشرط أولا

تعالى ولكن كن على الشرط أولا

And it is nothing but remembrance of our Lord's names,

Exalted is He; but first abide by the condition.

فأوله التطهير للقلب من أذى المعا

فأوله التطهير للقلب من أذى المعا

صي وثانيه التفرد في الخلا

صي وثانيه التفرد في الخلا

So its first is cleansing the heart of the harm of transgres-

sions; and its second is to be alone in seclusion.

وثالثه الاخلاص للّه وحده

وثالثه الاخلاص للّه وحده

وهذا ملاك الأمر فالزمه مقبلا

وهذا ملاك الأمر فالزمه مقبلا

And its third is sincere devotion to God alone.

And this is the heart of the matter, so hold fast to it wholeheartedly.

ورابعه استقبالك البيت في الدعا

ورابعه استقبالك البيت في الدعا

وخامسه كون الوضوء مكملا

وخامسه كون الوضوء مكملا

And its fourth is facing the House in supplication.

And its fifth is that ablution be complete.

وسادسه صوم الخميس محبب

وسادسه صوم الخميس محبب

وفي سحر الزهراء لذكر فاعملا

وفي سحر الزهراء لذكر فاعملا

And its sixth is fasting on Thursday, a commended practice.

And in the radiant night's predawn, devote yourself to remembrance.

وفيها على حسب التصاريف أصلت

وفيها على حسب التصاريف أصلت

شروط وذا حسب التبرك أصلا

شروط وذا حسب التبرك أصلا

And for them, according to their varied uses, have been laid down

Conditions; and this suffices as a basis for seeking blessing.

تنل سرها المخزون في بحر نورها

تنل سرها المخزون في بحر نورها

بتكميل مشروط وإن لم يكن فلا

بتكميل مشروط وإن لم يكن فلا

You will attain their secret, stored in the sea of their light,

By fulfilling what is stipulated; otherwise, you will not.

فمن يفتح الفتاح من سرها له

فمن يفتح الفتاح من سرها له

يكن ملكاً في العالمين مبجلا

يكن ملكاً في العالمين مبجلا

So he for whom the Opener unlocks some of their secret

Will be a king, revered throughout the worlds.

فعول عليها في المهمات داعيا

فعول عليها في المهمات داعيا

بياء الندا مستهديا متوكلا

بياء الندا مستهديا متوكلا

So rely on them in pressing matters, supplicating

With the vocative 'O,' seeking guidance and placing your trust.
