  1. الحمد للّه حق الحمد للّه

    بما به قام حق الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God; truly, praise belongs to God.

    For by Him the rightful praise of God is upheld.

  2. الحمد للّه اطلاقاً بلا أمد

    قبل الوجود وجوب الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, without limit or end.

    Before existence, praise of God was due.

  3. الحمد للّه أهل الحمد في أزل

    قبل الاضافات منا الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, worthy of praise from eternity.

    Before any praise was ascribed by us, praise belonged to God.

  4. الحمد للّه لا حصر ولا عدد

    ولا حدود لعظم الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, beyond measure or number.

    No bounds contain the greatness of praise of God.

  5. الحمد للّه لا عدل ولا مثل

    ولا نظير لقدر الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, without equal or likeness.

    No counterpart matches the worth of praise of God.

  6. الحمد للّه لا بدء ولا أجل

    ولا فناء لباقي الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, without beginning or term.

    No passing away touches the abiding praise of God.

  7. الحمد للّه بالحمد الرضي له

    وفوق ما يرتضيه الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, with praise pleasing to Him.

    And beyond what pleases Him, praise belongs to God.

  8. الحمد للّه بالحمد الذي عجزت

    عنه القوى في مقام الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, with praise before which

    all powers fail in the station of praising God.

  9. الحمد للّه بالحمد المنير على

    أسمائه قائماً بالحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, with praise that shines upon

    His names, upheld by praise of God.

  10. الحمد للّه بالحمد الذي وصفت

    صفاته من نعوت الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, with praise by which

    His attributes are described among the qualities of praise of God.

  11. الحمد للّه بالحمد المصون لدى

    خزائن الوحي بحر الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, with praise safeguarded in

    the treasuries of revelation, an ocean of praise of God.

  12. الحمد للّه بالحمد الأخص به

    مستغرقاً لكمال الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, with praise especially His,

    immersed in the perfection of praise of God.

  13. الحمد للّه بالحمد الملي به

    يفنى الوجود ويبقى الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, with praise sufficient in Him:

    existence perishes, but praise of God remains.

  14. الحمد للّه بالحمد الذي هدر ال

    عرش العظيم به في الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, with praise through which the mighty

    Throne resounded in praise of God.

  15. الحمد للّه بالحمد الملظ به ال

    كرسي في سبحات الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, with praise through which the

    Footstool shines amid the radiances of praise of God.

  16. الحمد للّه بالحمد الذي زجلت

    به الملائك أهل الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, with praise the angels raised

    aloft, those devoted to praise of God.

  17. الحمد للّه حمد الأنبياء له

    على مقاماتها في الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, with the prophets’ praise of Him

    in their stations of praise of God.

  18. الحمد للّه بالحمد المحيط به

    محمد متلقي الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, with the praise encompassed by

    Muhammad, recipient of praise of God.

  19. الحمد للّه بالحمد الذي خزنت

    أسراره في محيط الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, with praise whose secrets are stored

    in the vast expanse of praise of God.

  20. الحمد للّه حمد المخلصين له

    حمداً يكافىء فضل الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, with the sincere ones’ praise of Him:

    praise answering the bounty of praise of God.

  21. الحمد للّه حمداً طيباً جللاً

    مباركاً فيه أسنى الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, with good and splendid praise,

    blessed within it, the most exalted praise of God.

  22. الحمد للّه حمداً زاكياً قدساً

    مستوفياً طيبات الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, with pure and sacred praise,

    fulfilling the finest forms of praise of God.

  23. الحمد للّه حمداً لائقاً بجلا

    ل اللّه مستوعباً للحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, with praise befitting the majesty

    of God, encompassing praise of God.

  24. الحمد للّه حمداً يستمر بلا

    طرف شمولاً لجنس الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, with praise continuing without

    end, embracing every kind of praise of God.

  25. الحمد للّه مقروناً بنعمته

    حمداً يطابق شأن الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, joined to His blessing:

    praise befitting the standing of praise of God.

  26. الحمد للّه موصولاً تتم به

    مراتب الشكر لي والحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, unbroken, by which

    the ranks of gratitude are fulfilled for me; praise belongs to God.

  27. الحمد للّه مني لا وقوف له

    دون الرضا وتمام الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God from me, with no stopping

    short of contentment and the fullness of praise of God.

  28. الحمد للّه مني أستزيد به

    من نعمة اللّه حسن الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God from me; through it I seek more

    of God’s blessing: the grace of praising God well.

  29. الحمد للّه مني أستفيض به

    من فيضه فيض وهب الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God from me; through it I draw

    from His abundance, a gift flowing from praise of God.

  30. الحمد للّه مني أستمد به

    مداد أسرار سر الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God from me; through it I seek

    the ink of the secrets of the secret of praise of God.

  31. الحمد للّه مني أسترد به

    فوائت الخير حيث الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God from me; through it I recover

    good things I have missed, wherever praise belongs to God.

  32. الحمد للّه مني أستهل به

    لطائف اللّه لي في الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God from me; through it I invoke

    God’s subtle favors for me in praise of God.

  33. الحمد للّه مني استدر به

    يديه من بركات الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God from me; through it I seek

    from His hands the blessings of praise of God.

  34. الحمد للّه مني أستغيث به

    أوحى الاغاثات غوث الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God from me; through it I cry for help:

    the swiftest relief, the aid of praise of God.

  35. الحمد للّه مني أستفز به

    كربي ولا كرب عون الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God from me; through it I seek to stir away

    my distress; with the aid of praise of God, no distress remains.

  36. الحمد للّه مني أستعيذ به

    إن المعاذ معاذ الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God from me; through it I seek refuge,

    for refuge lies in praise of God.

  37. الحمد للّه مني أستجير به

    من كل سوء يجير الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God from me; through it I seek protection

    from every evil; praise of God grants protection.

  38. الحمد للّه مني أستقيل به

    كل الخطايا وترك الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God from me; through it I ask pardon

    for every sin, including neglect of praise of God.

  39. الحمد للّه مني أستجيز به

    حسبي جوائزه بالحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God from me; through it I seek His gifts;

    the gifts of praise of God are enough for me.

  40. الحمد للّه استكفي البلاء به

    يكفي البلاء بفضل الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God; through it I seek relief from affliction;

    by the grace of praise of God, affliction is warded off.

  41. الحمد للّه استعطي الجزاء به

    في مقعد الصدق مجلى الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God; through it I ask for recompense

    in the seat of truth, where praise of God is revealed.

  42. الحمد للّه استوفي التقاة به

    أوقى التقاة وفاء الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God; through it I seek complete piety;

    fulfilling praise of God is the surest safeguard of piety.

  43. الحمد للّه استوقي الوعيد به

    لم يشق مستسعد بالحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God; through it I seek shelter from the warning;

    one who seeks happiness through praise of God is not wretched.

  44. الحمد للّه أحياني وعلمني

    وساسني وهداني الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God: He gave me life and taught me.

    He governed and guided me; praise belongs to God.

  45. الحمد للّه أغناني وآثرني

    وقام بي ورعاني الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God: He enriched and favored me.

    He sustained and cared for me; praise belongs to God.

  46. الحمد للّه عافاني وأكرمني

    وخصني وحباني الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God: He granted me health and honored me.

    He singled me out and bestowed gifts on me; praise belongs to God.

  47. الحمد للّه أعطاني وخولني

    وسد أبواب فقري الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God: He gave to me and entrusted me with gifts.

    He closed the doors of my poverty; praise belongs to God.

  48. الحمد للّه زكاني وسددني

    وحاطني وكفاني الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God: He purified and set me straight.

    He surrounded me with care and sufficed me; praise belongs to God.

  49. الحمد للّه أولاني وأتحفني

    في السر والجهر نعمى الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God: He granted me favors and gifts.

    In secret and in public, blessings came; praise belongs to God.

  50. الحمد للّه آواني وأيدني

    بنصره وحماني الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God: He sheltered and strengthened me.

    By His help He protected me; praise belongs to God.

  51. الحمد للّه رباني وبوأني

    مبوءاً من لدنه الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God: He nurtured me and settled me

    in a dwelling from His presence; praise belongs to God.

  52. الحمد للّه نجاني وأنقذني

    بنوره من ضلالي الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God: He delivered and rescued me

    by His light from my error; praise belongs to God.

  53. الحمد للّه حلاني وميزني

    بالعقل والعلم منه الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God: He adorned and distinguished me

    with reason and knowledge from Him; praise belongs to God.

  54. الحمد للّه بالاحسان ألهمني

    رشدي وعرفنيه الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God: through kindness He inspired me

    with right guidance and made it known to me; praise belongs to God.

  55. الحمد للّه أدناني وأحسن بي

    ولم شعثي وأمري الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God: He drew me near and treated me kindly.

    He gathered my scattered affairs; praise belongs to God.

  56. الحمد للّه كم بالحلم سترني

    في موبقات المعاصي الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God: how often His forbearance concealed me

    amid ruinous acts of disobedience; praise belongs to God.

  57. الحمد للّه كم خطب أبوء به

    مما قضاه كفاه الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God: how many troubles I must bear

    from what He decreed, yet He sufficed me; praise belongs to God.

  58. الحمد للّه كم نعماء أسبغها

    ولم أقم بحقوق الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God: how many blessings He lavished,

    while I failed to fulfill the duties of praise of God.

  59. الحمد للّه كم سراء جددها

    لطفاً ومنا عليَّ الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God: how many joys He renewed

    as kindness and favor to me; praise belongs to God.

  60. الحمد للّه كم ضراء بعدها

    بحوله لا بحولي الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God: how many hardships He turned away

    by His power, not mine; praise belongs to God.

  61. الحمد للّه كم أعداء مزقها

    بكيده لا بكيدي الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God: how many enemies He scattered

    by His plan, not mine; praise belongs to God.

  62. الحمد للّه تمجيداً لعزته

    وجهد عبد يبث الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, in glorification of His might,

    and through the effort of a servant who utters praise of God.

  63. الحمد للّه ذي الحمد الحميد وما

    عساه أبلغه في الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God, possessor of praise, the Praiseworthy; what

    could I possibly attain in praising God?

  64. الحمد للّه أنعشني وصل على

    محمد مع أهل الحمد للّه

    Praise belongs to God: He revived me. Send blessings upon

    Muhammad, together with those devoted to praise of God.
