الهي على الاخلاص يا أحَدُ انطوى

يقيني فخلصني واخلص طويتي

My God, in sincerity, O One, lies enfolded

My certainty; so deliver me and purify my inward intent.

الهي آحاد الوجود حواسر

حقائقها عن حقة الأحدية

حقائقها عن حقة الأحدية

My God, the individual beings of existence are powerless:

Their realities fall short of the casket of absolute Oneness.

وفي كثرة الأعيان عين توحدت

وفي كثرة الأعيان عين توحدت

تراءت على أشخاصها وتجلت

تراءت على أشخاصها وتجلت

And amid the multiplicity of entities, one Essence stood alone;

It appeared upon their individual forms and revealed itself.

صفاتك والأسماء في أي مظهر

صفاتك والأسماء في أي مظهر

رمت كلها في الكل عن قوس وحدة

رمت كلها في الكل عن قوس وحدة

Your attributes and the names, in whatever manifestation,

Have all shot into the whole from a bow of unity.

وتخصيص اسم دون اسم بمظهر

وتخصيص اسم دون اسم بمظهر

يحقق حق الوحدة الأزلية

يحقق حق الوحدة الأزلية

And assigning one name, rather than another, to a manifestation

Establishes the reality of eternal unity.

ففي كل اسم قوة أحدية

ففي كل اسم قوة أحدية

لفعل ووصف أو لذات الحقيقة

لفعل ووصف أو لذات الحقيقة

For in every name there is a power of Oneness,

For action and attribute, or for the essence of Reality.

الهي ما التوحيد شيء أزيده

الهي ما التوحيد شيء أزيده

على حق نفس الأمر من لدنيتي

على حق نفس الأمر من لدنيتي

My God, affirming oneness is not something I add

To the reality of things as they are, from my own self.

إذا كان نفس الأمر حقاً لذاته

إذا كان نفس الأمر حقاً لذاته

غنياً عن الاثبات من جنس مثبت

غنياً عن الاثبات من جنس مثبت

Since reality itself is true in its own essence,

Independent of affirmation by any kind of affirmer,

فما هو توحيدي سوى أن هديتني

فما هو توحيدي سوى أن هديتني

فابصرت نفي النقص والمتوية

فابصرت نفي النقص والمتوية

My affirmation of oneness is nothing but Your having guided me,

So I perceived the negation of imperfection and [duality?].

فزدني تثبيتاً على ما هديتني

فزدني تثبيتاً على ما هديتني

وعرفتني من واجب الأحدية

وعرفتني من واجب الأحدية

So make me more steadfast in what You have guided me to,

And in what You taught me of the demands of absolute Oneness.

اذقني من التوحيد كأس موفق

اذقني من التوحيد كأس موفق

تدوم بها في حضرة القرب سكرتي

تدوم بها في حضرة القرب سكرتي

Let me taste a favored one's cup of oneness,

Through which my intoxication may endure in the presence of nearness.
