Sol 6.1

  1. الهي مغيث المستغيثين هذه

    سبيلي وكل السبل عني سدت

    My God, helper of those who cry for help, this

    is my path, and all paths have been barred to me.

  2. الهي مغيث المستغيثين لم أجد

    سواك وقد ضاق الخناق بكربتي

    My God, helper of those who cry for help, I have found no one

    but You; the noose has tightened with my anguish.

  3. الهي ما لي وصلة اجتدي بها

    غياثك لكن غوث لطفك وصلتي

    My God, I have no means by which to seek

    Your aid; yet the help of Your kindness is my means of approach.

  4. أقل عثرتيا رب من كبوة الهوى

    فكل حياتي كبوة إثر كبوة

    Pardon my stumble, O Lord, born of a fall into desire;

    for all my life is one fall after another.

  5. الهي أغثني بالذي أنت أهله

    فأنت جميل الفعل غوثي وعمدتي

    My God, help me as befits You;

    for You are gracious in deed, my help and my mainstay.

  6. الهي أغثني كم عثار وقيته

    وكم أزمة فرجتها بعد أزمة

    My God, help me—how many stumbles You have warded off!

    And how many crises You have relieved, one after another!

  7. الهي أغثني في نوائب جمة

    قطعن عن استكمال أمرك همتي

    My God, help me amid many calamities

    that have kept my resolve from fully carrying out Your command.

  8. الهي دارت بي دوائر فانتحت

    فنائك يازي وبابك حلت

    My God, calamities have circled me; then came a turning toward

    Your courtyard—[unclear word]—and a settling at Your door.

  9. الهي مغيث المستغيثين لا تكل

    إلى نصب الحرمان اخبات وقفتي

    My God, helper of those who cry for help, do not consign

    the humble submission of my standing to the hardship of deprivation.

  10. الهي قد استعملتني باستغاثتي

    وأكرمتني باسترفاد يمناك نصبتي

    My God, You have indeed set me to work in seeking help,

    and my stance in seeking bounty from Your right hand has honored me.

  11. فعجل غياثاً يكشف الهول مطلقاً

    ويفتح باب اللطف بي في بليتي

    So hasten aid that dispels terror entirely

    and opens the door of kindness for me in my affliction.
