Sol 6.1

  1. الله أكبر بسم اللّه باللّه

    اللّه أكبر حق الكبير للّه

    God is greatest; in God's name, by God.

    God is greatest; the Great One's rightful due belongs to God.

  2. اللّه أكبر تكبيراً لعزته

    العز للّه والتكبير للّه

    God is greatest, proclaiming greatness in honor of His might.

    Might belongs to God, and the proclamation of greatness belongs to God.

  3. اللّه أكبر تعظيماً لهيبته

    الملك للّه والتعظيم للّه

    God is greatest, exalting His awe-inspiring majesty.

    Sovereignty belongs to God, and exaltation belongs to God.

  4. اللّه أكبر تمجيداً لقدرته

    القهر للّه والتمجيد للّه

    God is greatest, glorifying His power.

    Subduing power belongs to God, and glorification belongs to God.

  5. اللّه أكبر تقديساً لرتبته

    القدس للّه والتنرية للّه

    God is greatest, hallowing His exalted rank.

    Holiness belongs to God, and transcendence belongs to God.

  6. اللّه أكبر تحميداً يحق له

    الشكر للّه والتحميد للّه

    God is greatest, with praise rightfully due to Him.

    Gratitude belongs to God, and praise belongs to God.

  7. اللّه أكبر جل اللّه عن شبه

    في الذات والنعت لا أشباه للّه

    God is greatest; God is exalted beyond likeness.

    In essence and attribute, God has no likenesses.

  8. اللّه أكبر ليس الأمر مشتركاً

    لا يقتضي الأمر إلا وحدة اللّه

    God is greatest; this matter is not shared.

    The matter entails nothing but God's oneness.

  9. اللّه أكبر حال البدء عنه وحا

    ل الانتهاء هما صنعان للّه

    God is greatest; the state of beginning from Him and the state

    of ending—both are works of God.

  10. اللّه أكبر حقت أوليته

    وآخريته لا حد للّه

    God is greatest; His being the First is affirmed.

    And His being the Last—God has no limit.

  11. اللّه أكبر ضاءت ظاهريته

    آثاره كلها ذلت على اللّه

    God is greatest; His manifestness shines.

    All His traces have bowed before God.

  12. اللّه أكبر تعلو الباطنية عن

    درك الحقيقة لا ادراك للّه

    God is greatest; His hiddenness rises beyond

    the grasp of true reality; God cannot be comprehended.

  13. اللّه أكبر جلت قادريته

    عن معجز خارج عن قدرة اللّه

    God is greatest; His omnipotence is exalted

    above any thwarting thing beyond God's power.

  14. اللّه أكبر ما ضاقت احاطته

    تكنفت كل شيء حيطة اللّه

    God is greatest; His encompassing reach has not narrowed.

    God's encompassing care surrounds everything.

  15. اللّه أكبر حياً لا فناء له

    ثبت البقا تقتضي ذاتية اللّه

    God is greatest, living, with no end to Him.

    Everlastingness is established; God's essential being requires it.

  16. اللّه أكبر قيوم الوجود على

    كل الحوادث قيومية اللّه

    God is greatest, Sustainer of existence; over

    all contingent beings extends God's sustaining power.

  17. اللّه أكبر ذو العلم القديم بما

    قد كان أو سيكون العلم اللّه

    God is greatest, possessed of eternal knowledge of what

    has been or will be; knowledge belongs to God.

  18. اللّه أكبر ما علم بمكتسب

    ولا بشرط وجود خيرة اللّه

    God is greatest; His knowledge is not acquired,

    nor is God's choice conditioned on existence.

  19. اللّه أكبر مختاراً إرادته

    شرط المكون والتكوين للّه

    God is greatest, freely choosing; His will

    is the condition of created being, and creation belongs to God.

  20. اللّه أكبر لم ينشىء بدائعه

    على مثال له سبق على اللّه

    God is greatest; He did not fashion His marvels

    after a model that had precedence over God.

  21. اللّه أكبر لم يبدىء خليقته

    ولم يعدها بعون ما سوى اللّه

    God is greatest; He did not originate His creation,

    nor restore it, with help from anything besides God.

  22. اللّه أكبر عز الجبرياء له

    الجبرياء على التحقيق للّه

    God is greatest; the glory of sovereign might is His.

    Sovereign might, in truth, belongs to God.

  23. اللّه أكبر مجد الكبرياء له

    على المنازع فيها قصمة اللّه

    God is greatest; the glory of supreme grandeur is His.

    Upon whoever contests it falls God's crushing blow.

  24. اللّه أكبر عز قائم وجلا

    ل دائم حق فردانية اللّه

    God is greatest; abiding might and majesty

    everlasting are the due of God's absolute oneness.

  25. اللّه أكبر جبار لقوته ال

    ايجاب والسلب عزت قوة اللّه

    God is greatest, the Compeller; to His power belong

    affirmation and negation; exalted is God's power.

  26. اللّه أكبر عدل نافذ ويد

    بالقسط آخذة جلت يد اللّه

    God is greatest; His justice prevails, and His hand

    seizes with equity; exalted is God's hand.

  27. اللّه أكبر ملك لا نظير به

    ولا وزير ولا أضداد للّه

    God is greatest, a King with no equal,

    no minister, and no adversaries to God.

  28. اللّه أكبر جد شانه عظم

    الجد والعظم الذاتي للّه

    God is greatest; His station is majestic and immense.

    Majesty and intrinsic greatness belong to God.

  29. اللّه أكبر أمجاد العلاء له

    القهر والغلب والسلطان للّه

    God is greatest; the glories of exaltation are His.

    Subjugation, victory, and dominion belong to God.

  30. اللّه أكبر أمجاد مقدسة

    وفوق نسبتنا مجدية اللّه

    God is greatest: holy glories.

    And God's glory is beyond our descriptions.

  31. اللّه أكبر انعام وطول يد

    سيقت إلى خلقه عن قسمة اللّه

    God is greatest: beneficence and a generous hand

    are conveyed to His creation through God's apportionment.

  32. اللّه أكبر تفضيلاً برحمته

    وقلة قدرتها حكمة اللّه

    God is greatest, bestowing favor through His mercy;

    and its limited capacity is God's wisdom.

  33. اللّه أكبر الطاف وفضل يد

    للطائعين وللعاصين للّه

    God is greatest: kindnesses and a bountiful hand

    for the obedient and the disobedient belong to God.

  34. اللّه أكبر ما أعلى سياسته

    يعطي ويمنع تدبيراً من اللّه

    God is greatest; how exalted is His governance!

    He gives and withholds according to God's ordering.

  35. اللّه أكبر من أعطى فعن كرم

    أعطاه والمنع فيه خيرة اللّه

    God is greatest; to whomever He gives, out of generosity

    He gives to him; in withholding lies God's choice of good.

  36. اللّه أكبر تلك الحالتين على

    كرامتين لنا من نعمة اللّه

    God is greatest; those two states rest upon

    two honors for us from God's bounty.

  37. اللّه أكبر قدراً ذو الجلال وذو ال

    اكرام من بسطتي في مدحة اللّه

    God is greatest in worth, Possessor of Majesty and of

    Honor—part of my outpouring in praise of God.

  38. اللّه أكبر شأنٌ ليس يبلغه

    حمدي وذكري ولكن دعوة اللّه

    God is greatest; a station beyond the reach of

    my praise and remembrance—yet God summons me.

  39. اللّه أكبر عظماً أن يقوم له

    شيء علت كل شيء هيبة اللّه

    God is greatest in grandeur, beyond being confronted by

    anything; God's majesty rises above everything.

  40. اللّه أكبر قهراً أن يضادده

    شيء على كل شيء سطوة اللّه

    God is greatest in subduing power, beyond being opposed by

    anything; God's might prevails over everything.

  41. اللّه أكبر ملكاً عن مناددة

    الند للّه منفي عن اللّه

    God is greatest in sovereignty, beyond rivalry.

    Any equal to God is ruled out for God.

  42. اللّه أكبر شأناً عن معادلة

    قد استحالت بلا شك عن اللّه

    God is greatest in station, beyond equivalence.

    It is beyond doubt impossible in regard to God.

  43. اللّه أكبر عزاً عن مقاومة

    من أين للعجز أن يقوى على اللّه

    God is greatest in might, beyond resistance.

    How could helplessness gain strength against God?

  44. اللّه أكبر رزاق بغير حسا

    ب قبل عرض الدعاوى منة اللّه

    God is greatest, Provider without reckoning;

    before claims are presented comes God's bounty.

  45. اللّه أكبر وهاب مواهبه

    سراً وجهراً قضايا رحمة اللّه

    God is greatest, the Bestower; His gifts,

    in secret and in public, are decrees of God's mercy.

  46. اللّه أكبر جود مطلق وأيا

    د سابغات والطاف من اللّه

    God is greatest: boundless generosity and favors

    abundant, and kindnesses from God.

  47. اللّه أكبر موجود لطالبه

    لا يحجب اللّه قطعاً طالب اللّه

    God is greatest, found by the one who seeks Him.

    God certainly does not bar a seeker of God.

  48. اللّه أكبر يدعوني إلى كرم

    وهو الغني وبي فقر إلى اللّه

    God is greatest; He calls me to generosity,

    though He is self-sufficient, while I am in need of God.

  49. اللّه أكبر منا قبل مسألتي

    ونفس مسألتي من من اللّه

    God is greatest, granting favor before my asking;

    and my very asking is a favor from God.

  50. اللّه أكبر يدعوني لمغفرة

    ورحمة وأعاصي دعوة اللّه

    God is greatest; He calls me to forgiveness

    and mercy, while I disobey God's summons.

  51. اللّه أكبر أنساه فيذكرني

    وقوتي في المعاصي نعمة اللّه

    God is greatest; I forget Him, yet He remembers me;

    and my strength in sinning is a blessing from God.

  52. اللّه أكبر ايجادي ومصلحتي

    دنيا وأخرى بقيومية اللّه

    God is greatest; my being brought into existence and my welfare,

    in this world and the next, rest on God's sustaining power.

  53. اللّه أكبر ما لي غير نظرته

    هلكت لو فارقتني نظرة اللّه

    God is greatest; I have nothing but His regard.

    I would have perished had God's regard forsaken me.

  54. اللّه أكبر غير اللّه مفتقر

    مثلي إليه ومنظور من اللّه

    God is greatest; whatever is other than God is needy,

    like me, in need of Him and under God's gaze.

  55. اللّه أكبر لو حاقت ذنوبي بي

    فليس لي عاصم يغني من اللّه

    God is greatest; if my sins closed in around me,

    I would have no protector to save me from God.

  56. اللّه أكبر لولا رحمة كتبت

    منه عليه لحلت نقمة اللّه

    God is greatest; were it not for mercy prescribed

    by Him upon Himself, God's vengeance would descend.

  57. اللّه أكبر عين اللّه ناظرة

    قبحي ولكن وفي حلم من اللّه

    God is greatest; God's eye beholds

    my ugliness, yet with forbearance from God.

  58. اللّه أكبر لولا أن يقابلني

    جمال ربي سبتني أخذة اللّه

    God is greatest; were I not met by

    my Lord's beauty, God's grasp would have taken me captive.

  59. اللّه أكبر آمالي يحققها

    فيه يقيني وحسن الظن باللّه

    God is greatest; my hopes are fulfilled by

    my certainty in Him and my good opinion of God.

  60. اللّه أكبر اخشاه لرتبته

    والذنب يوجب أيضاً خشية اللّه

    God is greatest; I fear Him for His exalted rank,

    and sin also necessitates fear of God.

  61. اللّه أكبر نفسي في أوامرها

    بالسوء أرجو عليها نصرة اللّه

    God is greatest; my soul, in its commands

    to evil—I hope for God's help against it.

  62. اللّه أكبر شيطاني غلبت به

    ما منقذي منه إلا عصمة اللّه

    God is greatest; my devil has overcome me.

    Nothing rescues me from him except God's protection.

  63. اللّه أكبر حسبي اللّه منه ومن

    مراده بي عليه لعنة اللّه

    God is greatest; God suffices me against him and against

    his designs upon me; upon him be God's curse.

  64. اللّه أكبر سلطاني كمالك أ

    يدني بتقوى ورضوان من اللّه

    God is greatest; Your perfection is my strength;

    strengthen me with piety and approval from God.

  65. اللّه أكبر حسن بالصلاة على

    محمد ختم قرباني إلى اللّه

    God is greatest; beautiful, through blessings upon

    Muhammad, is the close of my offering to God.
