Exalted are You, O Truth, whose subsistence is intrinsic—

You transcended, O Truth, by virtue of His essence

a true actuality, not through an affirmer's affirmation.

You were realized, O Right, not by the realization of one who affirms

تعاليت يا حق الوجود بلا انتفا

تعاليت يا حق الوجود بلا انتفا

ولا أمد يقضى على الثابتية

ولا أمد يقضى على الثابتية

Exalted are You, O Truth, whose existence admits no negation,

You transcended, O Truth of existence without end

nor any term that brings permanence to an end.

And no time expires upon that which is enduring

تمجدت يا حق الألوهة واجب

تمجدت يا حق الألوهة واجب

لوجهك منا واجبات العبودة

لوجهك منا واجبات العبودة

Glorified are You, O Truth of divinity; binding

You are glorified, O Truth of necessary divinity

upon us, for Your countenance, are the duties of servanthood.

For Your face, our duties of servitude are necessary

تعظمت يا حق الربوبية التي

تعظمت يا حق الربوبية التي

تجلت بقهر واقتدار ورحمة

تجلت بقهر واقتدار ورحمة

Magnified are You, O Truth of lordship, which

You are magnified, O Truth of lordship which

manifested itself through subjugation, power, and mercy.

Was manifest with subjugation, power, and mercy

تعززت يا حق الجلال بما له

تعززت يا حق الجلال بما له

من الكبريا والمجد والسطوية

من الكبريا والمجد والسطوية

Mighty are You, O Truth of majesty, through what it possesses

You are strengthened, O Truth of majesty, by what belongs to it

of grandeur, glory, and overpowering might.

Of greatness, glory, and sovereignty

تكبرت يا حق الكمال بما له

تكبرت يا حق الكمال بما له

من العز والتسبيح والعظمية

من العز والتسبيح والعظمية

Supreme are You, O Truth of perfection, through what it possesses

You are exalted, O Truth of perfection, by what belongs to it

of might, glorification, and greatness.

Of might, glorification, and magnificence

تمجدت يا حق الجمال بماله

تمجدت يا حق الجمال بماله

من الرحموت المحض والعاطفية

من الرحموت المحض والعاطفية

Glorified are You, O Truth of beauty, through what it possesses

You are glorified, O Truth of beauty, by what belongs to it

of pure, boundless mercy and tenderness.

Of pure mercy and affection

تجليت لي يا حق في الخلق ظاهراً

تجليت لي يا حق في الخلق ظاهراً

فما ثبتت عند التجلي حقيقتي

فما ثبتت عند التجلي حقيقتي

You revealed Yourself to me, O Truth, manifest in creation,

You were revealed to me, O Truth, manifest in creation

so my own reality did not endure the unveiling.

Yet my essence was not affirmed in revelation

ومحضتني حقاً بحيث اخترعتني

ومحضتني حقاً بحيث اخترعتني

وعين مجاز في الوجود أنيتي

وعين مجاز في الوجود أنيتي

And You made me pure reality in bringing me into being,

And You purified me as sheer Truth, as if inventing me

and my selfhood in existence is sheer metaphor.

And a metaphorical being in existence became my essence

فيا حق بالحق اجعل الحق موقفي

فيا حق بالحق اجعل الحق موقفي

وفي الحق أطواري وبالحق قوتي

وفي الحق أطواري وبالحق قوتي

So, O Truth, by the Truth, make the Truth my station,

So O Truth, by the Truth, make Truth my stance

and my states within the Truth, and my strength through the Truth.

And in Truth my states, and by the Truth my strength

وأيد بنور الحق يا حق سطوتي

وأيد بنور الحق يا حق سطوتي

ومجد لنفي البطل سلطان حجتي

ومجد لنفي البطل سلطان حجتي

And strengthen my might with the light of Truth, O Truth,

And aid, O Truth, my authority by the Light of Truth

and exalt the authority of my proof to dispel falsehood.

And glorify, to negate falsehood, the sultan of my proof
