Sol 6.1

  1. بكاف الكمال وكون الكريم

    كفيل الكلاءة لي والكفايه

    By the kāf of perfection and the being of the Generous One,

    who guarantees me safekeeping and sufficiency;

  2. بهاء الهوية والهور منا

    وهيبته والهوى والهدايه

    By the hāʾ of divine identity, and our collapse [sense uncertain],

    and His majesty, and love, and guidance;

  3. بياء اليقين وأواره

    ويمن يمينك يا مشتكايه

    By the yāʾ of certainty and its blazing heat,

    and the blessing of Your right hand, O You to whom I complain;

  4. بعين العلوم وأعيانها

    وعين العليم وعون العنايه

    By the ʿayn of the sciences and their essences,

    and the eye of the All-Knowing, and the aid of providence;

  5. بصاد الصفاء بصيمودية

    بصدقك في مقتضى كل آيه

    By the ṣād of purity, by ṣaymūdiyyah [unclear term],

    by Your truth in the purport of every verse;

  6. بحاء المحبة والحكمة والحك

    م والحمد منا وحجب الحمايه

    By the ḥāʾ of love, wisdom, and judg-

    -ment, and praise from us, and the veils of protection;

  7. بميم معارفك المشرقا

    ت وأسرار مبدئها والنهايه

    By the mīm of Your radiant knowledge—

    —and the secrets of its beginning and end;

  8. بعين أعنابها يا معين

    بعطفك للمعتنى بالرعايه

    By the ʿayn of its grapes, O Helper,

    by Your kindness toward the one tended with care;

  9. بسين السلام وسبحانه

    سريع العطاء سميع الشكايه

    By the sīn of Peace, and glory be to Him,

    swift in giving, ever-hearing of complaints;

  10. بقاف القوي بقهر القدير

    بقيوم قلبي بقدر الوقايه

    By the qāf of the Strong, by the overpowering might of the All-Powerful,

    by the Sustainer of my heart, by the measure of protection;

  11. سألتك صل على المصطفى

    الهي وسهل ويسر منايه

    I ask You: send blessings upon the Chosen One,

    my God, and make my wishes easy to attain.
