ويا باسط الأرزاق بسطاً مقدراً

ببسطك ربي كل خير وبسطة

ببسطك ربي كل خير وبسطة

And O You who spread sustenance in due measure,

O Provider of sustenance with measured generosity

through Your expansion, my Lord, come all goodness and abundance.

With Your generosity, my Lord, all good and amplitude

ويا باسط الحب الثقال كما يشا

ويا باسط الحب الثقال كما يشا

ليبسط منها رزقه كل نسمة

ليبسط منها رزقه كل نسمة

And O You who spread the heavy grain as He wills,

And O Provider of heavy clouds of love as You wish

so that every living soul may expand its sustenance from it.

To provide from it the sustenance of every breeze

ويا باسط الأنوار والظل باسطاً

ويا باسط الأنوار والظل باسطاً

بقدرته العظمى بساط البسيطة

بقدرته العظمى بساط البسيطة

And O You who spread the lights and the shade, spreading

And O Provider of lights and shade with generosity

by His supreme power the carpet of the earth.

With Your supreme power, the expanse of simplicity

ويا بساطاً للروح في الجسم باسط ال

ويا بساطاً للروح في الجسم باسط ال

قلوب بروح الأنس بالواحدية

قلوب بروح الأنس بالواحدية

And O expanse for the spirit in the body, Expander of the

And O Provider of spirit in body, Provider of

hearts through the spirit of intimacy with Oneness.

Hearts with the spirit of intimacy with Oneness

ويا باسط المبقى بكشف جماله

ويا باسط المبقى بكشف جماله

ويا باسطاً للعفو عن ذي الجريرة

ويا باسطاً للعفو عن ذي الجريرة

And O You who expand the one made to endure by unveiling His beauty,

And O Provider of permanence by unveiling His beauty

and O You who extend pardon to the bearer of wrongdoing.

And O Provider forgiving the one of great sin

الهي بسر البسط يا باسط العطا

الهي بسر البسط يا باسط العطا

افض لي فيض البسط من كل نعمة

افض لي فيض البسط من كل نعمة

My God, through the secret of expansion, O Expander of bounty,

O my God, with the secret of amplitude, O Giver of bounty

pour forth for me the outpouring of expansion from every blessing.

Bestow upon me an abundance of Your every bounty

افض لي بسر الباسط البسط في الذي

يقوم بما يرضيك من وجه قومتي

يقوم بما يرضيك من وجه قومتي

Pour forth expansion for me, through the Expander's secret, in that which

Bestow upon me with the secret of the Giver, amplitude in that

carries out what pleases You with regard to my rising.

Which satisfies You in my devotion

افض لي بنور البسط عرفان كامل

وهب لي كمالاً مطلقاً في عبودتي

وهب لي كمالاً مطلقاً في عبودتي

Pour forth for me, through the light of expansion, complete knowledge,

Bestow upon me with the light of amplitude, complete gnosis

and grant me absolute perfection in my servanthood.

افض لي عين البسط من كل مظهر

افض لي بحر البسط من كل حضرة

افض لي بحر البسط من كل حضرة

Pour forth for me the essence of expansion from every manifestation.

Bestow upon me the eye of amplitude from every manifestation

Pour forth for me the sea of expansion from every presence.

Bestow upon me the ocean of amplitude from every presence

يسر جمال البسط وسع معارفي

بكشف حجاب القلب والبشرية

بكشف حجاب القلب والبشرية

Make the beauty of expansion accessible; broaden my knowledge,

Facilitate the beauty of amplitude, expand my knowledge

by lifting the veil of the heart and human nature.

By unveiling the veil of heart and humanity

يلطف كمال البسط هب لي رقيقة

يلطف كمال البسط هب لي رقيقة

من البسط استوفي بها بسط حجتي

من البسط استوفي بها بسط حجتي

The perfection of expansion is subtle; grant me a subtle grace

Refine the perfection of amplitude, grant me subtlety

of expansion, through which I may fully unfold my argument.

From amplitude, I attain through it the expanse of my argument
