And O Subduer, the All-Subduing above His servants,
O Vanquisher of tyrants, above Your servants
to Your all-conquering might I raise my complaint:
To Your subjugation the victorious raised my complaint

the complaint of one crushed by an oppressor's might,
A complaint of one subjugated by the injustice of an oppressor
who prowls through the land in heedless security;
Who roams freely in the house in the security of ignorance

the complaint of one wronged, ill-treated, humiliated,
A complaint of an oppressed, wronged, humiliated one
who sees justice forsaken, with no hour of succor.
Who sees truth abandoned without any support

I seek refuge in You from men's oppression, for so often
I seek refuge from the subjugation of men, for so long
I have bowed to it; and might—Your might—is my safeguard.
As You have taken my side, and subjugation is Your protection

And no thorn has grown formidable, O Subduer of all,
And never, O Vanquisher of all, has the arrogance
for any foe, without Your breaking its sharp points with a thorn.
Of an adversary grown to match Your arrogance

بفائتable to escape قهرthe might of اللّهGod فيin جزءa fraction of ذرةan atom
And no oppression by one himself subdued, who has overstepped his bounds,
Nor has the subjugation of the subjugated exceeded its limit
can escape God's might by even a fraction of an atom.
By a hair's breadth of God's preordained subjugation

The attributes of subduing might belong by right to the Subduer,
The attributes of subjugation belong to the Subjugator Who
to whose sovereignty all kinds of creation have bowed;
By His power has humbled all manner of creation

And from when things came into being, they bend to His command
brings back and brings forth, without condition or cause.
He brings back and initiates without condition or cause

So they have no escape from the grasp of subduing might,
They have no escape from the grip of His subjugation
and their deeds are an outpouring of compelling might.
And their actions are an emanation of compulsion

Manifest Yourself inwardly through the true name 'the Subduer,'
Reveal, O Truth, as the name the Subjugator inwardly
against God's adversaries, with the swiftest strike.
Upon the enemies of God the swiftest violence

And shall I have my share of it, if I subdue desire
Is there any share for me if I subugate desire
and restrain my soul from the ills of my inborn nature?
And my soul from the corruption of my nature?
