And O Master of dominion, whose might is sublime,

whose will holds sway over His creatures.

And O Master of dominion, the Self-Sufficient, whose

hand takes away and bestows, needing no aid.

And O Master of dominion, the Almighty, to whom belong

perfect guardianship and the dependence of all creation.

And O Master of dominion, beneficent to His servants,

with a just apportionment between abundance and scarcity.

And O Master of dominion, in whose right hand

the keys of all things have come to rest and remain.

By Your might You grant dominion, O Lord, to whomever You will,

and take it from whomever You will, for a wise purpose.

And You exalt whomever You will, and abase whomever

You will, exercising the authority that divinity entails.

Yours is dominion; giving has not diminished Your treasuries.

Yours is praise; the greatness of Your bounty has not wearied You.

And in Your hand is goodness, which befits You,

and Your goodness, my Lord, is my provision in my distress.

To You, my God, I present my poverty without reserve,

for my dependence is absolute, and so is my need.

For not a speck of my wretched state has been hidden

from You; nor, my Master, has my need been beyond Your power.
