1. الِلّه قل وذر الوجود وما حوى

    إن كنتَ مرتاداً بلوغَ كمالِ

    Say 'Allah,' and leave existence and all it holds,

    if you seek to attain perfection.

  2. فالكلُّ دون اللَهِ إن حقّقتهُ

    عدمٌ على التفصيل والإجمال

    For all besides Allah, if you discern its reality,

    is nothingness, in detail and as a whole.

  3. واعلَم بأنك والعوالم كلَّها

    لولاهُ في محو وفي اضمحلال

    And know that you and all the worlds

    would, but for Him, be effaced and dissolved.

  4. من لا وجودَ لذاتهِ من ذاته

    فوجودهُ لولاهُ عينُ محالِ

    Whatever has no existence from its own essence—

    its existence without Him is sheer impossibility.

  5. فالعارفونَ فنوا ولمّا يشهدوا

    شيئاً سوى المتكبر المتعال

    So the knowers were effaced and have not beheld

    anything but the Supremely Great, the Most Exalted.

  6. ورأوا سواهُ على الحقيقةِ هالكاً

    في الحال والماضي والإستقبال

    And they saw all besides Him truly perishing,

    in the present, the past, and the future.

  7. فالمح بعقلك أو بطرفك هل ترى

    شيئاً سوى فعل منَ الأفعال

    So look with your mind or your eye: do you see

    anything but an act among acts?

  8. وانظُر إلى علو الوجود وسفلهِ

    نظراً تؤيدهُ بالإستدلالِ

    And look at the heights of existence and its depths,

    with a gaze you reinforce through reasoning.

  9. تجد الجميع يُشيرُ نحو جلالهِ

    بلسان حالٍ أو لسان مقال

    You will find everything pointing toward His majesty,

    with the tongue of its state or the tongue of speech.

  10. هو ممسك الأشياء من علوٍ إلى

    سفلٍ ومُبدِعُها بغيرِ مثالِ

    He upholds all things, from the heights to

    the depths, and originates them without a model.
