وتِهتُ فخراً على الوجود
O you through whom my life has grown sweet,
O you through whom my life has grown sweet,
And I have gloried proudly over all existence;
And I have exulted in pride above all existence.

ووجهُكُم قبلةَ السجودِ
You are my suns, the very core of my being,
You are my suns and the very essence of my being,
And your face is the direction of my prostration.
And your face is the qibla of prostration.

I have passed beyond myself and my attributes,
I have left myself and my attributes behind,
And come to you, yearning to reach you.
And I have come to you, yearning to enter your presence.

By your sacred right, I have never ceased to be a humble servant
And by your right, I have always been a humble servant,
Near your sanctuary—the poor one's refuge.
Around your sanctuary, the poor one's refuge.

Through you I call out, in ease and hardship.
O my masters, mend my brokenness.
O my masters, so mend my broken self.
