حَتّى أَزالَ الصُبحَ فاضَلَ ذَيلُهُ

حَتّى أَزالَ الصُبحَ فاضَلَ ذَيلُهُ

كَالنيلِ يَخطُرُ في نَوادي يَعرُبِ

كَالنيلِ يَخطُرُ في نَوادي يَعرُبِ

Until dawn swept away what remained of its train,

Like the Nile, striding proudly through the assemblies of Yaʿrub.
