صَرفي الرَجاءَ إِلى نَوالِ أَبي عَلي

صَرفي الرَجاءَ إِلى نَوالِ أَبي عَلي

To turn the reins toward equal give-and-take in love

Turning the reins toward mutual fairness in love

is to turn my hope toward Abu ʿAli’s bounty.
